A small cargo plane, falling into a strong sandstorm, suffers a collapse in the middle of the desert. Understanding that help will not come, the team decides to independently build a new plane from the wreckage of the crashed. The commander of the ship Frank Towns and the navigator Lew Moran lead people to salvation, despite the growing tension in the relations between the team members.
