Each of the main characters of the film strove for his cherished dream. Sarah Goldfarb dreamed of starring in the famous television show, her son Harold with her friend Tyrone - fabulously get rich, Garold`s friend Marion dreamed of her own fashion store, but there were all sorts of obstacles in their way. The events of the film unfold rapidly, the heroes are mired in drugs. Dreams are still unattainable, and the lives of heroes collapse irrevocably.
