In the small Mexican town of Tampico, two poor Dobbs and Kertin meet. From a local old man, they learn about the gold mine in the vicinity of Sierra Madre. Having invested all their money in business, three friends go on a dangerous journey. It is worth getting there huge labors, but keeping a sober mind at the sight of yellow metal and returning alive is even more difficult.
