The main character comes from Seoul to a small town to the place of art teacher in a local school for deaf children. This is a lone young father, for whom it is important to make money for the treatment of a sick daughter. So he is ready to come to terms with the `small` problems that immediately arise at his new job. But, when the hero witnesses the strange attitude of the pedagogical composition to the deaf students, something more serious and terrible wedges into the circle of his personal troubles.
